Certified Original Carniolan Sausage (Kranjska Klobasa) – Pack of 2 x Double Sausages

Carniolan sausage is one of the most popular sausages in Slovenia and beyond. Due to its recognition and traditional value, tied to the area of ​​present-day Slovenia, its name and recipe were protected at the European level in 2015 and since then it has proudly carried the European quality label Protected Geographical Indication.

Proper preparation of Carniolan sausage is very important. Place the Carniolan sausage in cold water and bring to a boil. When the water boils, set the sausage aside and leave it in the water for about 10 more minutes. We can then serve it.

According to tradition, Carniolan sausage is eaten warm with sauerkraut or turnips and cold, with bread or kajzerica and mustard and grated horseradish. It has also found its place in modern cuisine.
